Q. What are these seat belt pads for?

A. The most frequently asked question and rightly so. They are used to stop that annoying irritation from the seat belt strap across the neck. Not so much of a need with clothing in place during the cooler months of the year but a definite necessity during the warmer summer months. They are also used for backpacks, any type shoulder bags and luggage. We add the designs for variety.

Q. My seat belt does not retract very well with the pad in place, is there something I can do?

A. Yes, the pads are made to wrap the seatbelt and were intentionally made to these size specifications so that the pads would stay in place during normal use. There is a slight adjustment in width (about 8mm) in either direction. Vary the contact points of the hook and loop fastener to loosen the pad so that the seat belt retracts normally.

Q. I've never seen these before, where did you find them?

A. We love this question...We did not find them anywhere. We have these seat belt pads manufactured to our specifications under our direct supervision and scrutiny. Q. Can these seat belt pads be cleaned?

A. The best way to clean these seat belt pads is by hand washing in warm to hot water with a mild laundry soap and then rinse and squeeze out as much water as possible. Hang to drip dry. We do not recommend using an electric or gas dryer as this may cause distortion in the pad because of the embroidery and they may lose their original shape. The pads dry quickly due to the open cell foam that is uniquely bonded to the fabric.
